Hari Isnin yang tidak berkabus seperti Ahad nya. (semalam)

Berbondong-bondong student berebut masuk ke lab mikrobiologi atau bahasa boardnya (Ahya' Daqiqoh). Jam tepat 11.30 am . Janji Melayu  Arab . Tipikal mahasiswa.

Sempat cop tempat depan. Lab microbiology, kalau masuk lewat, lamatnya memang berhabuk je keluar. Bahasa mudah, Nothing gained !

Dr Mary memulakan kelas .Bentang how TB diagnosis  acid fast gram stain those and these. Khusyuk jugak because this doctor sangatlah motherly. Touch dia tu lain.

"Why you have to know how to conduct all these laboratory thingy?"

"Because we have to know what the source of the disease. bla bla ....... ". Good-looking guy answered. And a few 'scorer' perhaps.

Kemudian doktor sambung

"This case just happen a few days ago and Im still stunned."

Semua tetiba cam attracted . Interested

"There s a 60 y.old guy who's suddenly loss conciousness and admitted to the Hospital Y in the capital city (before he was transferred to the ICU in Hospital X a few days later) . He was diagnosed with meningitis earlier and further test he was suspected to have the TB. His sputum (kahak) was collected and sent to laboratory for test. The procedure to get the results TB takes time and ......' 

Semua masih diam . Mencari dimana konfliks cerita

"Yes. Before the result is released, the patient died. And that test will still be carried out"

Telan saliva .


She continues.

Nampak muka doktor berubah. Terpukul barangkali

 "And that patient has a brother who is a doctor too. Unfortunately during all the time this patient being sick, he NEVER visit. I dont deny .Yes doctor is busy right . But. Is it everything ?"

Semua geleng . Tak kurang reaksi heartless.

Benar, ajal tak akan dilambat atau dipercepat walau sesaat pun. Tak nafi  .
Itu skop kuasa Maha Esa . Tak pernah berniat aku sangkal benda tu.
Dan profesion doktor ini sendiri bukanlah untuk menghalang ajal maut itu .


Sampai rumah , terngiang lagi ayat terakhir lekcerer
